Shipping & DOA's

PLEASE NOTE: Livestock is typically only shipped Wednesday's for Next Day delivery. If Saturday delivery is needed, please contact us before placing your order. Saturday delivery is not normally available.

Because Beghia Nudibranchs are livestock, we will only ship them Next Day Air.

Normally, UPS usually delivers by 10:30 am but not guaranteed since COVID, so please have someone available to accept the order and sign for it, else we cannot Guarantee Live Delivery.

Due to the weather and time of the year, many clients prefer to have them shipped to a UPS Store store location or a CVS, Autozone or Michael's where they can hold them for you to pick them up. That way they can usually be picked up by 10:00am and you don’t have to wait around the house for them to be delivered. Or you can pick them up after work in the afternoon, at least that way they should be inside Room Temp and OK. Another option is to have them shipped to your work location where they can be kept in a room temperature environment.

When your order ships out, you will receive tracking info from UPS via email.

DOA POLICY:

If, due to no fault of your own, there are any dead Berghia, You MUST contact us within 2 Hrs of receipt of shipment. We will need to get eyes on the Berghia when they arrive with clear, close videos taken from the top of the container looking down, at the Berghia still in the container, against a black background. After a period of acclimation and water changes (1+ hr) we will need to get eyes on them again. We may request a video chat or facetime at this time. We will replace all Berghia that were determined DOA at no cost to you, or refund their cost at our discretion, (we do not refund shipping costs). If we decide to replace the DOA's then the Shipping cost for the replacement order will be paid for by you. If, at any time, you are not available when UPS attempts delivery, creating a shipping exception, then all warranties implied or otherwise are Void. We will work diligently on your behalf with UPS to get your shipping refunded for the first shipment if it was UPS’s fault they died (i.e. took 2 days to arrive and not due to severe weather delays) In our experience, most of these type shipments have been refunded by UPS, at which time we will credit your card for the 1st shipment.

RETURN INFORMATION

Please contact us for return authorization and information. Returns can not be accepted without prior authorization.

ReefTown is not responsible for orders that are returned for lack of signature. If a package is returned, the customer will pay the return shipping cost. Someone must be present to sign for your package.
